Members join us for our final get together of 2015 on December 6th, from 6pm to 9pm,at Stars and Strikes in Dallas GA. Thank the exiting board members for their dedication, welcome the new board members as they lead the chapter for the next 2 years, congratulate Time Trial series award winners and welcome the new mountain bike patrol members. The volunteer incentive awards will be announced. Chapter jersey design and samples to try on will be available.

SORBA West Georgia is the West Georgia Chapter of the International Mountain Biking Association/Southern Off-Road Bicycle Association(IMBA/SORBA). Our mission is to build, enhance, and preserve natural tread trails for the enjoyment of cyclists, walkers, and runners in Cobb, Douglas, and Paulding, Counties. Please get involved by volunteering at our monthly trail work days, at one of our fundraising events or as a corporate sponsor!
- Clinton Nature Preserve in Douglas got a new kiosk and map as well as running the final time trial of the series.
- Mountain bike patrol met at Mt Tabor for some structure into 2016 and training on the trail.
- Silver comet sidetrail in Paulding received some love at mile 23.4 workparty.
Your chapter was at it again in October, working Mt tabor in Paulding, Clinton nature preserve in Douglas, MTB patrol training at Allatoona and Allatoona trail work in Cobb.

Your chapter was hard at it on a hot July day! The Mountain Bike Patrol was working at Allatoona trails in Cobb learning evacs and training together.
Douglas was working on opening a new beginner trail at Clinton Nature Preserve. Douglas purchased some much needed tools to help with the trails after a successful summer solstice race.
Paulding was on the Silver Comet Sidetrail doing maintenance and labeling the kiosk at Tara Drummond trailhead.

Been a busy May with Sorba West Georgia, our trails at Clinton Nature Preserve in Douglas, the Silver Comet Sidetrail in Paulding and Allatoona Creek trails in Cobb, laying rock, maintaining the trail and opening new reroutes were completed. Also the mountain bike patrol was out training on our trails thanks to all that spent their saturday with us, it is appreciated.
I know it's frustrating when the trail status is red, and it seems like everytime you turn around this year they've been yellow (questionable conditions) or red, and here's why...
